I've been with my boyfriend for almost a year now and over the New Year we are travelling to Northern Ireland to visit his family who live there (I've never met them before either).

Getting back to the point; my boyfriend wants to take me out for our 1 year anniversary and I was wondering if anyone knew any good Italian restaurants in Belfast?

Thank you =)

Try Villa Italia on University Road. It has a good reputation and often people queue outside to get a table- always a good sign. Someone mentioned Casa Nostra. It's great for pizza and pasta but it's basically just a take-away place-not a restaurant.

Casa Nostra

Belfast

County Antrim

BT7 2EB

The pastas are out of this world, I could live on them. Hats off to the chef, staff are so friendly and very helpful, prices are very good, you really do get your moneys worth.
